Don’t worry…it’s not the end of all hope, it’s just the end of our Hope Series. We’re wrapping our 12 week journey through the Bible. So what’s next? Well, after a summer of travel and missions, I’m looking forward to being personally back in the saddle on Sundays and start our fall teaching series. Here’s a preview…
Relat(able) is our new series on relationships. We’ve all got relationships and they’re not going away any time soon. They’re often the source of our greatest blessing and our greatest conflict and angst. In this series, we’ll walk verse by verse through Ephesians 1:3-11 and see what the Lord has to teach us about how to have better relationships. Whether you’re single or married, young or older, this is going to have an impact on you. As an added bonus, I’m going to invite you to memorize these nine verses with me–they’ll be yours forever.
Next up is Jesus for President…just in time for the election. We’re going to look at Jesus’ view of key issues facing our nation. The purpose of the series isn’t to suggest how our nation should shape policy, but rather to address how we, as a followers of Jesus, live out biblical principles. We’ll cover immigration, social security, sexuality, and other issues. Studying God’s Word will give us solid direction.
Let’s keep striving to be the FCOE*…not just on Sundays, but also be reaching out to the people in our oikos (our sphere of influence). Invite someone to come with you as we start these new series.
