Ministering to Children is our Joy and Passion!
Our ministry serves children from birth-5th grade. Whether we’re holding babies or teaching preteens, our goal is to help kids learn to love God, love others, and go make disciples. We use the Bible Project curriculum which encourages children to grow intellectually, emotionally, behaviorally, and spiritually. Kids discover, develop, and deploy disciple skills that prepare them to influence their world for Christ.
We believe our role as the church is to equip parents to love and to lead their children spiritually and assist in establishing a firm foundation of faith. We want to help parents become spiritual heroes for their children!
In each age group, from birth through 5th grade, we lead the kids in age-appropriate worship, Bible lessons, and related activities. They have the opportunity to develop their faith and build great friendships. Bring your kids for a visit! We are excited to meet them!
As in all our classes, volunteers are trained and have undergone background checks.
On Sunday mornings, our BabyZone serves children from birth to age three in a calm and nurturing environment. Because the safety of your children is paramount, we conduct regular background checks on all of our leaders who work with children, follow strict sanitation protocols, as well as require annual training.
Our BabyZone rooms are staffed with caring adults who love children, and our desire is for parents to have full confidence their little ones are receiving a high standard of care. It is a blessing to shepherd children at their earliest levels of development, and we strive to provide a positive church experience for those impressionable first years of a child’s life.
Our KidZone serves Pre-K to 5th-grade children. We use the Gospel Project curriculum, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study that immerses children in the story of the gospel. Kids will understand that the Bible is not a collection of stories, but God’s unified story of redemption. They spend equal time in the Old and New Testaments, learning the key distinctions of each and how they fit together.
All classes study the same content each week with age-appropriate lessons and corresponding activity sheets. Our parent and Lifegroup resources include family talking points and review key themes and passages to further emphasize the lessons at home. We strive to develop a gospel culture where young believers are saturated in the gospel and inspired to declare the good news in word and deed.
