In just 12 days, many people in our community will make their annual pilgrimage to “church” on Easter Sunday.
I’m asking Father God to include me personally in unfolding his love and destiny for someone who doesn’t currently know him. In prayer, let’s be like John the Baptist, preparing the way for the Holy Spirit to prompt and to convict. Ask the Lord to cultivate reverent fear in us for salvation and for his presence. Ask him to give us new eyes to see into the spiritual realm that we might pray in more perfect alignment with his heart.
He’s not distracted. He hasn’t changed his mission: He came to seek and to save that which was lost (Luke 19:10). When he rode into Jerusalem on the donkey, people lined the streets, declaring him King and crying, “Hosanna!” which was cry for Jesus to save them.
I want us to make “Hosanna” our word through Easter. Let “Save!” be the most common word you speak in prayer for the next 12 days. Ask the Lord to remind you, to prompt you, and as he does, cry “Hosanna!” for the lost.
One more thing…We need all hands on deck Easter Sunday. We have roles in Kidzone, Faith45, Children’s Guest Check In, and Shuttle Drivers. Can you help at either 8:00, 9:30, or 11:00? Email Kristin White here and let her know.
