I’ve invited four friends to our Easter celebrations on Sunday. I’ve been praying for them this week, and I’ll be in the Prayer Room Saturday night, crying out for their salvation. I’ve spent time this week outside talking with some of them who are neighbors, and I made a point to eat at a particular Taco Cabana three times where one of them works (not a big sacrifice for me!) I offered to pick one of them up on Sunday if they’d agree to come (I forgot I have to be at the Community Center at 7:00 a.m.)

     My point is that I want to be part of what God is doing this weekend. Sure, I’m going to preach, and that’s a contribution, but I want to have real skin in the game. I want to know that I have personal hand in the people in my oikos knowing the invitation of Christ.

     I know I can’t impart faith to any of these friends of mine, but I know for sure that the Lord is working through me to woo them toward himself. How about you? Is there someone you can invite? Someone you can prayer for or love on behalf of Jesus? I’ll be at Taco Cabana…where will you be?

•   Good Friday Service 6:30 p.m.

•   40-Hour Prayer and Worship Room runs Friday 4:30 p.m. through Sunday 8:00 a.m.

•   Three Easter Celebrations at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m.

   Please be sure to come at least ten minutes early for whatever service you’re attending so our guests don’t beat us there!
