This Easter, I want to bring you backstage with me. Instead of being part of the “audience,” would you be part of the cast this year? No audition needed—you’re perfect for the part. Here’s what you do…

• Read Luke 15. My Easter message will be the retelling of the lost sheep, the lost coin, the lost son, the lost brother. Read this chapter several times and pray for people in your oikos who might relate to one of these.

• Listen to the song Out of Hiding by Steffany Gretzinger. At the end of the service, when I’m giving people a chance to respond to the Gospel, Bryan will sing Out of Hiding. It’s so moving and true. Listen to it this week and pray it’s truth over whomever the Holy Spirit brings to your mind.

• Read the lyrics of He Wears a Crown. We’ll be singing Bryan’s song and I want us to mean it as we do. Read the lyrics and pray it this week over someone.

• Do the basics. Give the best parking to guests…be the Friendliest Church on Earth…Bring someone with you…Come to Block Party on Friday at 5:30 p.m.

The Sunday after Easter we’re going to have a cast party and celebrate everything Jesus did and included us in. Break a leg!
