Sometimes regular math just doesn’t describe reality. I know that one plus one generally equals two, but something transcends this physical law when it comes to spiritual things.

     This weekend, 120 teenagers will spend Friday and Saturday up at the Community Center for our annual Global Impact retreat. For Global Impact, sometimes we transform the Community Center into a Third World country; other times we simulate poverty or persecution so our students gain an understanding of what Christians encounter in other countries. The weekend is stretching and powerful in so many ways.

    That’s where the math comes in. When we impact one student, that student then ultimately influences hundreds of people in their own generation and literally thousands in future generations. We’re influencing students at one of the most important times of their lives.
