As Foster & Adopt Ministry Coordinator, Alex is responsible for creating a place of fellowship and support for foster and adoptive families, while inviting others to learn more and find a role they can play in caring for vulnerable children and families in our community.
She earned her B.S. in Agricultural Communications and Journalism from Texas A&M University. After serving with an inner-city youth outreach ministry, Alex realized how passionate she was about the marginalized in her community. She went on to serve foster families as a case manager at child placing agencies, as well as working for a local non-profit organization called South Texas Alliance For Orphans.
Alex and her husband Will welcomed their three daughters into their home through foster care in 2022 and officially became a family of five through adoption in 2023. She enjoys traveling, hosting people in our home, and slowly adding to their personal petting zoo of dogs, cats, horses, pigs, and goats.
