As Missions Engagement Specialist, Julia facilitates missional living throughout the body of CrossBridge and through our global partners overseas. She connects with overseas partners, leads Outreaches and helps CrossBridge members get plugged into overseas Outreaches as their “step to the right.” Julia helps lead the charge of the missional heartbeat in CrossBridge and facilitates the CrossBridge Discipleship Accelerator. 

Before coming on staff, Julia worked in philanthropy at the San Antonio Food Bank. Prior to that, she spent almost six years as a missionary in South Africa leading outreach teams to different communities around South Africa, Mozambique, Lesotho, and Namibia.

Julia grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and went to college at West Texas A&M. She played collegiate soccer and graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Master’s Degree in Communication. Upon graduating, Julia worked as a digital analyst at Texas Tech University Health Science Center until leaving for Africa on a mission trip in 2016. Julia was called to missions during that trip.

On weekends, you can find Julia outside running long distances, hiking a mountain somewhere, or on an adventure to be in God’s creation.
