Stories from Bridge to the East: Summer 2024

We visited a business of one of the missionaries that is run by a Syrian man. We heard the incredible testimony of how this man and his family fled war, and the dad became a follow of Jesus. About a year after becoming a follower, his kids and wife followed. Right now, in Turkey, because of this Syrian man, people are coming to know Jesus!

Within the next two weeks, five new believers will be baptized! It was so amazing to hear. The whole story reminded us of the Father heart of God. Because this dad believed and followed Jesus, his kids, wife, and many other people are coming to know Jesus. How important a father’s role is in the family. We got to pray for him and the missionary there and bless their business. It was so encouraging to their hearts. 

We met with the university students again to celebrate finals ending. It was the sweetest night - literally! We ordered a ton of desserts and fellowshipped together! It was so sweet to see how they love our missionary there and also how welcoming they were. There were students from over 10 different nations and so many testimonies told tonight. We saw God’s hand over it all! 

Please pray for these students who come from all backgrounds. Pray that they will know Jesus. Please also pray for our new Syrian friend and his ministry. Jesus will be known in the East and we are fully believing it. So grateful to be a very small part of God’s story!
