Next trip date: To be determined, check back soon!
What if, through no fault of your own, you were infected with HIV? What if this caused you to become the outcast of your society? Children of all ages are right now experiencing this life in Romania! Andy and Tresha McKnight, and Tony and Claudia Udrea serve at the Joshua Project; a ministry that shares the hope of Jesus Christ with children and families affected by HIV/AIDS. Each summer, CrossBridge sends a team to host an evangelistic summer camp for some of their incredible youth. You can be involved with this ministry by being a member of the next team, or by sending needed supplies and joining the prayer team.
What to expect when you come?
An adventurous 10-day trip in which you have the opportunity to share the love of Christ with the youth from this ministry, as well as the missionaries serving there. Team members will present challenging lessons, lead crafts and activities, and plan exciting indoor/outdoor games for the campers.
Most of all, you will have the incredible experience of being used by God in the changing of lives! Join the team and see your life changed as well!
An 8-day trip that allows the team time at the Joshua Project Day Center, where the day to day ministry occurs. Help put together Christmas Baskets that will be delivered to many needy families.
“…It was my first mission trip overseas and the Lord blew me away with the blessings he poured out during my time there. I experienced, first-hand, God’s compassion for the lost and hurting, and an overflow of the Spirit I had never felt before…” – Amanda T., Summer Team 2009
“…I just want to be where Jesus is. His presence is palpable with those who need Him most. Ultimately, He is of course, everywhere. But He saw fit to lead me to Romania so that I might deposit my heart there.” – Kathryn Mitchell, Summer Team 2007-2010
