Catalyst is the initiative to mobilize and multiply English-language international church planting.

Darryl and Debra Evetts are the missionaries serving the International Baptist Convention as Director of Church Multiplication. They lead the effort to plant English-language international churches to reach “GLOCAL people”, global people living in local communities.

Why We Do What We Do:

• The Great Commission – “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19)
• The Great Opportunity – “Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.” (Acts 2:5)
• More than 200 million people are living outside their home country, according to the United Nations

What We Do:

• Identify strategic global cities for church plants
• Recruit potential church planters
• Provide assessment and coaching for church planters
• Partnership development
• Resource development
• Team development

How you Can Partner With Us:

1. Pray Fervently: 

• Pray that we would be filled with and lead by the Holy Spirit.
• Pray that we would be spiritually dependent on God for everything.
• Pray that we would have God’s wisdom and Christ’s compassion as we lead.
• Pray that the Lord of the harvest would raise up church planters.
• Pray that God would provide all our planters’ needs to reach the field.
• Pray that souls among the nations would be saved, Christ would be exalted, and God glorified.
