Children's Ministry
Whether we are holding babies or teaching preteens, our goal is to help kids learn to love God. We are a family with a passion for Jesus and his purposes in the world. We believe parents are the primary disciple makers of their children and our heart is to partner with you as your children learn to know God and walk in his love.
God's calling for parents as disciple makers is found in Deuteronomy 6:6-7. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up (NIV).

Sunday Mornings
What to Expect
Stop by the Children's Ministry welcome desk in the lobby on your first visit. We will collect some information from you and walk you and your child to their assigned classroom.
Our Children's Ministry has several security measures in place to protect the children in our care. We will be happy to answer any questions about our protocols on your first visit.
Curriculum
Our students learn biblical truths using the Gospel Project curriculum, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study that explains God's plan for redemption from Genesis to Revelation. We also teach children how to live out their faith by hearing the Lord, talking with the Lord, hearing the Lord and blessing others, and talking with the Lord about others. Learn more about the four core experiences here. Each month we pray over one local and one global missions project that our church body is connected with. Find more details here.
Classrooms
In each age group, from birth through fifth grade, we lead the kids in age-appropriate worship, Bible lessons, and related activities. They have the opportunity to develop their faith and build great friendships.
- Children from birth to age three are in BabyZone
- Children in PreK through fifth grade are a part of KidZone
Volunteers
All adult volunteers are background checked and trained before serving. To sign up to volunteer for Sunday mornings, go here.
Outside of Sunday
Illuminate
This spring and fall parent-led class is designed to guide parents as they disciple their new believer by helping them understand the impact of their decision to follow Christ.
Agape Trail
Preparing for middle school can be a challenge for preteens (and their parents!). Agape Trail is designed to assist our 5th-grade students in exploring their faith and understanding their identity in Christ.
Spark Bible Nights
Shining God's light in our neighborhoods this summer! This new multilayer outreach kicks off with a Kindle on Saturday, June 3, where we will invite children and families to join us for a neighborhood block party on Friday, June 16, followed by our Bible Nights on June 19-22.
Please pray and ask the Lord if he is calling you to host this event in your neighborhood or to support the outreach in other ways. Our host locations are flexible, and this event will work in a backyard, neighborhood park, or community center.
We hope that you and your family will join us this summer as we engage our local neighborhoods and share God's truth. For more information, go here.

Art of Parenting
This course helps parents make faith the core of their parenting, with intentional, biblical teaching and Christ-centered plans. Parents will end the experience with renewed confidence, fresh insights on raising children at different ages, and a parenting plan unique to each child’s personality and gifting.
nextTalk
The digital world has changed parenting, and we are in new territory. What do we do, and how do we keep our kids safe? This nine-week, faith-based class will answer these questions and more.
The nextTalk creators' goal is to walk through nine “first-steps” so you can start implementing a solution. "We’re parents just like you. We’ve recorded this video study in real-time, continually learning what it means to be a cyberparent in today’s world."
Join us and other CrossBridge families for nextTalk starting Thursday nights, January 25 thru March 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Childcare is available. (No class on March 14.) Sign up here.
