As the KidZone Coordinator, Teara welcomes and equips volunteers to create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children in PreK through 3rd grade. She leads the recruitment, development, and oversight of volunteers while also creating Sunday morning curriculum that helps kids grow in their understanding of Jesus.

Teara brings a background as an occupational therapist, having worked with both pediatric and adult populations in hospital and community settings. She has a heart for serving families and previously invested in children’s ministry and disability programs at her home church.

She studied Exercise and Sports Science at Texas State University and completed her therapy training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Teara and her husband, David, love raising their adventurous son, Pete.
