Disciple Making Is for You
Jesus has invited each of his followers to join him in the joy of becoming a disciple maker. At CrossBridge, we believe every follower of Jesus is called to grow and help others grow.
In Matthew 28:18-20, Jesus tells his followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey everything He's commanded—it's the life mission for all who call Him Lord. Jesus wants to share with us the thing that's closest to his heart; the thing about which He's most passionate. He's also showing us how to have the most significant, abundant life possible!
Five Circles
Specific Areas of Disciple Making
At CrossBridge, we go after enjoying and following Jesus in five specific life contexts:
1. Personal
Your one-on-one relationship with Jesus, where you enjoy him through his Word, prayer, and the presence of the Holy Spirit throughout your day.
To support you in your personal walk with Jesus, we offer Enjoy + Follow classes. These classes are short, foundational seminars designed to help you grow in the everyday practices of life with Jesus, held on Sunday mornings during one of the three service times.
As you're ready to dive even deeper, CrossBridge offers multi-week disciple making training for different roles and calling. These intensive trainings are designed to accelerate your growth as a disciple of Jesus and equip you to disciple others.
2. Family
The everyday rhythms of your household, where parents are the primary disciple makers and Jesus is woven into dinner tables, car rides, and bedtime conversations.
You're the primary disciple maker for your child, and we're here to support in your marriage and as you parent.
3. Lifegroup & D-Group
The smaller, life-on-life contexts where you're truly known. Lifegroups meet in neighborhood homes and D-Groups gather for deeper accountability as we grow together as disciple makers. For more about a D-Group, talk to your Lifegroup leader or come to the Discipleship Accelerator.
4. Gatherings
When the church comes together for Spirit-led worship, biblical teaching, and prayer that fuel the rest of our lives with vision and shared purpose.
These also include events such as trainings, semester-long classes, and conferences.
5. The World
The mission field flowing out from every other circle—your neighbors, your workplace, your city, and the nations—where Jesus is inviting you into what he's already doing.
CrossBridge supports local and global missions outreaches, equipping you to pray, give, and go share the love of Jesus with those he is calling you to serve.
