We want your first visit to feel like home. Here's what you can look forward to:

  • Kids Check-In: Safe, fun environments for birth through 5th grade. Check in at the kids' area before service.
  • Dress Code: Come as you are. Jeans and a t-shirt are perfectly welcome. Dresses or ties are too.

Our Heart

Our History & Vision

We exist to enjoy and follow Jesus together in a way that shows others how to enjoy and follow Jesus too. CrossBridge Community Church is part of the Antioch Movement of Churches.

History

CrossBridge has a story of God's faithfulness in San Antonio—a family rooted in the gospel and pressing forward on mission together.

In October 2002, Kirk and Debbie Freeman moved to San Antonio and met with a group about starting a church called CrossBridge, where everyone would be connected beyond Sunday mornings through Lifegroups. In March 2003, 27 people launched CrossBridge's first service at Hardy Oak Elementary School, where the church met for one year. The church then met at Reagan High School for seven years. The church moved to its current property on Easter 2010.

Vision

Enjoy and follow Jesus together in a way that shows others how to enjoy and follow Jesus too.

Mission

Love God, love others, and go + make disciples of all nations.

What We Believe

Core Beliefs

Our faith is rooted in the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God—our guide for faith and life.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus is fully God and fully man. He lived, died, and rose again so that we could be made right with God.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship, grow in community, and carry the gospel to the nations.
