Paraguay Missions
Paraguayans have been through devastating wars, dictatorships, political repression, poverty and corruption, and yet their greatest need is still the same as every other nation, the hope that is found only in Christ.
Our very own David and Rebecca Ortiz have moved to Paraguay full time to serve in the areas of
- Medical evangelism through David´s role as a Family Physician and medical educator.
- Teaching and discipleship that brings growth to God's people personally and corporately as the body of Christ.
- Working alongside national churches to share Christ's gift of salvation and expanding God's kingdom one disciple at a time.
Our mission is to make disciples of the people of Paraguay through medical evangelism and teaching, healing, training, and developing spiritual maturity.
Prayer Needs
- Pray for David as he serves through medical missions that he would have discernment in diagnosis, clarity in treatment, stamina for long days, and opportunities for compassionate witness through care. Pray for protection from burnout, illness, and unexpected obstacles.
- Pray for Rebecca as she disciples women that hearts would be open, trust would grow, and the Spirit would bring transformation, healing, and maturity. Pray that women would move from attendance to obedience, and from learning to multiplying discipleship.
- Pray for David as he preaches in church and teaches in the life group—that his messages would be Spirit-led, biblically faithful, culturally sensitive, and applied to real life. Pray that God’s Word would convict, encourage, and mobilize the church.
- Pray that their small group would be a place of genuine community, confession, growth, and mission. Ask God to raise up local leaders, multiply groups over time, and guard the group from division, discouragement, or spiritual stagnation.
