Easter With CrossBridge

Our God, unlike our world and times, is immovable, unshakeable, steadfast, never-failing. Coronavirus can’t stop Easter from coming. We want to keep you informed of activities and opportunities surrounding Easter. Here’s what you want to know:

What To Do

Easter Kit Curbside Pickup

  • Monday, April 6:  4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, April 8: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Starting Monday all CrossBridgers are invited to pick up your free Easter Kits at the campus. You’ll pick up a customized kit based on the ages of those in your family. We have kits for those with children, teenagers, and everyone else!

You’ll find a craft, Easter eggs to (safely!) share with neighbors, pre-packaged communion cups, a card to walk you through how to have a non-awkward spiritual conversation with your kids, toilet paper, and more!

For Easter Egg-Stravaganza: Home Edition

To pick-up your Easter Kit, come to the campus on Monday, April 6, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. or Wednesday, April 8 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. You won’t even have to get out of your car. We’ll load your Easter Kit into your car while practicing social distancing and wearing gloves.

And because Easter is a celebration and we love having fun at CrossBridge, have your kids wear their craziest hats!

How to Prepare Your Heart

Easter Week Happenings

Good Friday Services

  • Friday, April 10 at 5 p.m.

We will celebrate the good in Good Friday with an interactive evening for your entire family. Our own Bryan McCleery will lead us in worship with songs you select. After worship, you’ll have time to pause and remember what Jesus accomplished for us on the cross as we share in communion together. Make sure you pick up your Easter Kit for communion supplies. You can stream Good Friday on these platforms:

Easter Prayer Room

  • Continuously starting Friday, April 10 at 9 p.m.
  • Ending Sunday, April 12 at 7 a.m.

Each year CrossBridgers come together to pray and worship, starting on Good Friday through Easter Sunday in our Easter Prayer Room. While we won’t be in the room this year, we will still offer you the space to worship and pray for those far from Jesus.

Virtually join us here as we pray and worship continuously for more than 30 hours. The Easter Prayer Room starts on Good Friday, April 10 at 9 p.m. and ends Sunday, April 12, at 7 a.m.

Easter Reading Plan

Father God's desire is that you experience the wonder and power of His glorious death and resurrection this Easter. Nothing, not COVID-19 or anything else, can stop the power of God's love poured out for you and I in the gospel of Jesus Christ. He came, He died, He arose, He ascended, and He's coming back!

Here's how you can get the most of Holy Week:

  1. Read the daily passages you'll find here out loud.
  2. Slow down and pray each verse out loud one at a time. Personalize it and turn it into a prayer back to Jesus.
  3. Read the text for the devotional found here and answer the question.

"And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus more fully and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and I will be one with him in his death. Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with his in his resurrection from the realm of death." - ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:10-11‬ ‭TPT‬‬
