Children

Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. Psalm 127:3

At CrossBridge, ministering to children is our joy and passion! We know that your kids are your greatest blessings. That is why, in addition to creating fun learning experiences for your kids, we make sure to provide a secure and nurturing environment for them. We feel privileged to partner with you in teaching them about Jesus and showing God’s love to them.

In each age group, from birth through 5th grade, we lead the kids in age-appropriate worship, Bible lessons and related activities. They have the opportunity to develop their faith and build great friendships. Bring your kids for a visit! We are excited to meet them!

Students

Did you know that 64% of born again Christians made that commitment to Christ before their 18th birthday? True, according to a recent study by the Barna Research Group. Wow. That really drives home how vital the ministry of CBC Students is in the lives of the kids who pass through our doors! Because of this, we have zeroed-in on the “reach” part of the CBC mission to “reach, teach and help people in Jesus’ name,” and challenged our students to invite their friends to services, small groups, and camps, where they are sure to hear the gospel. By living out the call of “each one reach one,” we get to see God use our faithfulness to hugely impact the youth of San Antonio for Christ!

College and Career

Are you in your 20s or 30s? Maybe you are a college student in a new city…or single and working...whatever your “status,” we know being connected with people with common interests is important to you. Friends are your second family, and we are here to be family to you, too!

Our College and Career group is a community that is designed for you! We meet weekly on Sunday evenings for large group worship and Bible teaching and small group discussion. We also like to get together to just hang out and get to know each other at other times during the week.

Adults

Whether you are retired or just starting a career, married or single, having that first baby or adjusting to an “empty nest,” you need community! We weren’t meant to do life alone!

Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone.” Genesis 2:18a

CrossBridge is a great place for you to connect with others! We offer life groups for adults in every stage of life. You may be looking for support as you struggle through a difficult time; or maybe you are looking for a community where you can learn more about God. You will find a place to belong here! And no matter what group suits you, you will be supported and encouraged and given the opportunity to grow in your relationship with Christ and to share His love with others.

All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. Acts 2:42

Therefore, to and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19

Freedom Prayer

The freedom prayer ministry is a personal prayer ministry where individuals can schedule a focused prayer time with members of CrossBridge's prayer team. The main goal of the prayer ministry is to allow the Holy Spirit to identify and to address things hindering a deeper personal relationship with God.

This ministry uses a biblical framework to give the Holy Spirit room to address inner hurts and wounds, identify and break strongholds, and bring healing and freedom, all with the purpose of knowing God better (Eph. 1:17).

While God can meet us anytime in any way, he’s made a promise that when two or more of us gather in his name, that he blesses us with his presence (Matt. 18:20).

When we wait on him together, we can confidently expect him to reveal himself and, as our hearts are tender and open to him, we can trust he will guide us into truth (John 16:13).
