Bullseye Study

This is a collection of Scriptures that describe the target God is aiming at in this season of eternity. It illustrates what He's doing, what it will look like when He's finished, and our role in what He's accomplishing.

Each day, use the steps of the S.O.A.P. process to engage the verse or passage for the day and discover what God is doing in the world and your role in His plan.

Part 1 - What's God Doing

God is Expressing His Glory in Everything He Does — Romans 11:36
“For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.”

God is Establishing a Kingdom, Bringing All Things Under the Authority of Christ — Ephesians 1:9-10
“And He made known to us the mystery of His will according to His good pleasure, which He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment—to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.”

God is Establishing His Kingdom Presently by Reconciling People to Himself — 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them.”

God Has Given His Followers a Special Name: The Body of Christ. I Am a Part of It. — 1 Corinthians 12:27
“Now you are the Body of Christ and everyone of you is a part of it.”

The Mission of the Body of Christ is to: Love God — Mark 12:30
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”

Love Others — Mark 12:31
“The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Go and Make Disciples of All Nations — Matthew 28:19-20
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely
I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

III. Help Guard One Another Against Sin — Hebrews 3:13 and James 5:16
“But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.”
